Internship at British American Tobacco (BAT) is uniquely challenging and full of learning opportunities. This program enables those students who are looking to develop a legal career and looking for the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of working within a top global company. We are looking for high calibre, ambitious and creative students who want to be challenged to achieve their full potential. You choose the business function that suits your individual strengths and if you are successful in the application process, we will structure your development around a clearly defined set of deliverables.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Preparing policy proposals in line with BAT’s engagement agenda
Structuring a tracking system for engagement events
Research of legislation and timely provision of made observations to the management
Ability to communicate with governmental structures and organizations in order to obtain necessary information related to the Company’s activity.
Formulating innovative methods for a more effective communication of BAT messages to relevant stakeholders including general public.
What are we looking for?
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Knowledge, interest, and expertise in public policy making processes
Experience in Parliament and/or Governmental Institutions is a plus
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills, Fluent Turkish, English.
