Category Specialist - Purchasing

What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a Category Specialist - Process Purchasing who will join our team at Purchasing Directorate in Beko Global.
Buy process materials that will be used in production for our plants all over the world
Proactive and inquisitive- eager to challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and improvement,
Work closely with different business units for the requested items or services,
Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
Create competitive environments with suppliers to support the negotiation strategy.
Build relationships and effectively partners cross functionally with business partners and external suppliers to influence change,
Plan, conduct, and finalise all commercial negotiations for project-based purchases,
Following up on the technology closely and bringing up new cost innovation or efficiency project ideas.
The position is located in Sütlüce, Istanbul.
How do we describe the perfect match?
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Masters Degree or Ph.D. is a plus), experience in purchasing min. 3 years
Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must; expertise in SAP is a plus.
